Biotreatability Studies

In order to establish the feasibility of a biological treatment process, Biogenie relies on its know-how or if necessary, carries out a biotreatability study in its own laboratories. The main objectives of this study are to identify the optimal biodegradation parameters and evaluate the performance of various treatment processes. Based on the treatability study results, one or several biological treatment processes can be applied in part or in full to the soil and/or groundwater to be treated. The use of several processes provides flexibility to our solutions. Biological treatment processes can also be combined with complementary processes allowing for the remedial objectives to be attained.
