Biogénie is committed to helping municipalities and businesses divert their organic waste from landfills and incineration. We accept and treat a variety of organic waste generated by farmers, the agri-food sector, pulp and paper manufacturers, municipalities and private citizens.
Organic Waste
Biogénie processes the following organic waste:
- Municipal biosolids (liquid or solid) generated by waste water sewage treatment plants,
- Slaughterhouse sludge,
- Septic tank sludge,
- Food residues from the 3rd lane municipality pickup,
- Food residues from the 2nd lane municipality pickup,
- Leaves and grass cuttings from municipalities,
- Solid and liquid manure from the agricultural sector,
- Wood residues,
- Residues from the agri-food industry, and
- Residues from pulp and paper mills.
Non-Organic Waste Residues
Biogénie processes the following non-organic waste:
- Ash,
- Alkaline residues,
- Foundry sand,
- Cement dust,
- Gypsum sludge, and
- A number of other residues.
